This panel was installed by the control room supervisor to provide a quick visual indication of scheme availability and highlight fault alarms. The panel enabled the supervisor at any site to mute the main/link receivers, disable main transmitters or changeover to duplicated equipment. This was true key and lamp technology before screen based equipment!
