North Side P5/5 (late 60's)

Shapwick Depot; North side of Main Building - Looking West towards Bridgwater. Taken from above the Workshop entrance, which was the main entrance/exit from the building.

The small part of building sticking out was the oil store, which contained a drum of motor oil and cans of Shell Aeroshell grease for renovating Pye F300AM Blower Fans.

The building to the right beyond the hedge is the "CWT's" bungalow with "blastproof" roof - like the main building. The site had this and 6 other bungalows (having pitched asbestos roofs and similar in layout to post war pre-fabs, but built in brick "pots").
