Webmaster Comments
Lillington was the first Outstation I worked in shortly after starting at Romsley Depot in March 1970.

I still have many fond memories of my four and half years spent at the Outstation. Much of this was due to the friendship, fine mix and personalities of the people who worked there and the geographical area. The low integration technology helped stimulate a high level of personal interest and challenge by repair to component level, rather than just 1st line servicing. Furthermore, the informal yet professional manner in which we worked as an organisation, coupled with a by and large customer base that was appreciative of the work undertaken on their behalf made the job all the more interesting and enjoyable.
